Refund Policy

Important: This refund policy applies to all JohnMark College courses and programs. Please read carefully before enrollment.
1. General Refund Principles
- Refunds are processed based on the timing of withdrawal requests
- Administrative fees and third-party costs are non-refundable
- All refund requests must be submitted in writing
- Processing time for approved refunds is 14-21 business days
2. Course Fee Refunds
2.1 Before Course Commencement
- 30+ days before start: 90% refund (10% administrative fee)
- 15-29 days before start: 75% refund (25% administrative fee)
- 7-14 days before start: 50% refund (50% administrative fee)
- Less than 7 days: 25% refund (75% administrative fee)
2.2 After Course Commencement
- Week 1-2: 50% refund of unused portion
- Week 3-4: 25% refund of unused portion
- After Week 4: No refund available
3. Non-Refundable Fees
- Application and registration fees
- KASNEB registration and examination fees
- Study materials and textbooks
- Administrative processing fees
- Technology and system access fees
- Certificate and transcript fees
4. Withdrawal Procedures
4.1 Required Documentation
- Completed withdrawal form
- Written reason for withdrawal
- Original fee payment receipts
- Student ID and identification documents
4.2 Submission Process
- Complete the official withdrawal form
- Submit to the Registrar's Office
- Receive acknowledgment of receipt
- Await refund calculation and approval
- Receive refund via original payment method
5. Special Circumstances
5.1 Medical Withdrawal
- Medical certificate required from licensed physician
- May qualify for additional refund consideration
- Case-by-case evaluation by administration
5.2 Course Cancellation by College
- Full refund if course is cancelled by the college
- Alternative course options may be offered
- Transfer to next available intake at no extra cost
5.3 Academic Dismissal
- No refund for dismissal due to academic dishonesty
- No refund for disciplinary dismissal
- Partial refund may apply for other circumstances
6. Online Learning Refunds
- Same refund schedule applies to online courses
- Access to materials ends upon withdrawal approval
- No refund for accessed or downloaded content
7. Transfer Between Programs
- Internal transfers subject to availability
- Fee differences must be settled
- No refund for transfer to lower-cost program
- Transfer fees may apply
8. Payment Method Considerations
- Refunds processed to original payment method
- Cash payments refunded by check
- Bank charges deducted from refund amount
- Foreign exchange rates may affect international refunds
9. Appeals Process
If you disagree with a refund decision:
- Submit written appeal within 30 days
- Provide supporting documentation
- Appeal reviewed by Academic Affairs Committee
- Final decision communicated within 14 days
